Describe your role in one sentence at Cairn ?

Being a trainee property inspection, my role involves all things viewings and inspections.

What is your proudest business achievement/moment ?

Being new to business, I’m afraid I’m yet to achieve anything momentous. However, this will hopefully change soon as I progress in this role. For the time being, I am proud of my academic achievements during my undergraduate and Masters’ degrees.

Give us an interesting fact about yourself?

I started my own little photography business back in 2020 for a bit of fun and something to do in lockdown. I really enjoyed the challenge of figuring things out in an entirely new field.

What advice would you give your 18 year old self?

Get involved with as much as you can and don’t be afraid to fail.

How do you unwind out of work ?

I have always loved playing sports, and it’s always been an important part of me being able to relax and unwind.

Favourite book/CD/

I enjoy reading non-fiction, especially scientific and anthropological reads. Otherwise, if the TV is on, I’ll shamelessly have episodes of The Office on re-run.

Where is your favourite place in Scotland ?

Despite living in Edinburgh now, it has to be Glasgow. I loved my time there whilst I was at university and it’s a city so full of character.
