Meet the Team – (Lianna Denholm – Development Manager)

Describe your role in one sentence – Development Manager responsible for growing the business for lettings, sales and Air B&B in Edinburgh and East of Scotland. I also manage a portfolio of properties which means I am up always up to speed with the changes in legislation and have 1st hand knowledge to give to clients.

What is your proudest Business achievement?

Responsible for managing three successful acquisitions in Edinburgh whilst still 100% focused on customer service, which in turn has led to numerous referral clients, and a successful and profitable business.

How has your industry changed?

Several changes in the legislation have affected our industry, this combined with the lack of properties in key locations in Edinburgh has made this a challenging time for tenants and landlords.  More recently, the eviction ban and rent freeze applied by the Scottish Government has made it quite a difficult time for landlords to manage properties themselves whilst keeping on top of the compliance and certification required,  it is even more crucial for landlords to appoint a letting agent that is up to speed with everything..
