We’re here for a good time, and a long time!
The start of the year is for new beginnings and historically it’s been fortuitous for the Cairn team. Three of our company joined us at the start of previous years so we’re glad to be celebrating work anniversaries, welcoming two new property managers and enjoying the benefits of our experienced team.
Six years
This week we are celebrating six years with our valuer, Chris Tulloch. The ever patient Chris has built up his knowledge of the market in his time here and now values property for sale and rent.
Four years
Next week it’s the turn of our Investment Manager, Jennifer McGonigle, who is celebrating four years with us. Buyers and investors have Jen to support them through the sometimes scary investment process. She can be relied upon to keep up her pace in a busy market, and negotiate HMO procedures.
Nine years
Finally, but by no means least, Paul Shields will celebrate nine years in his role as our Finance Director in February too. Balancing the books is vital to the continuation of our business, but this multi-tasking man runs our specialist IT system too.
All three have vital functions and their familiar faces offer both our clients and our whole team reliable support, as well as a great source of knowledge. Having weathered the ups and downs of the Scottish property market they offer safe hands which our team, and our clients, know we can rely upon.
17 years of Cairn Estate Agency
We will celebrate 17 years in business this year and are delighted that our team has grown and that so many of our team have remained here. We’re delighted to welcome our new additions Liam MacKay, our newest Property Manager and Rossella Pagone, our bi-linqual property manager who speaks Italian, Spanish, English and is currently doing a course to update her French.
Their experience is invaluable and developing a team who collaborate and support one another doesn’t just benefit the team, it supports our customers too.
Having happy customers makes our business, and we know it’s great for returning customers to have a familiar face to deal with.
The adage from Richard Branson ‘Train people well enough so they can leave, treat them well enough so they don’t want to’ is true to every business. We’re not letting Stravaigin’s bacon rolls take all of the credit!
If you’re interested in joining our team please get in touch. We’re always keen to hear from professionals who can create opportunities. If you’re keen to develop your career in property please contact us here.
